Anton van Leewenhoek is a famous scientist. He was born in 1632 in Holland. He was the first person to look through a microscope because he invented the microscope. His microscopes were basically really powerful magnifying glasses. Still, he was able to see microorganisms. And, he was the first person to see bacteria. We have learned a lot from him.
